Current Open Positions:
Postdoctoral Fellow – Clinical Pharmacogenomics: Our lab is currently looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in pharmacogenomic data analysis. Our research program focuses on clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics and precision medicine, with ongoing clinical studies and implementation trials in collaboration with healthcare practitioners, patient partners, and health system stakeholders.
Position Overview: The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing and emerging projects involving genomic data generation, analysis and clinical translation. The fellow will play a key role in analyzing genotype data, conducting gene–drug association studies, supporting implementation research, and contributing to high-impact publications and grant development.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform pharmacogenomic and genetic epidemiology analyses
Conduct quality control, imputation, variant annotation, and association analyses
Integrate genomic data with clinical and phenotypic datasets
Contribute to development of predictive models and polygenic approaches where applicable
Support implementation research in clinical pharmacogenomics
Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Contribute to grant writing and future funding applications
Mentor graduate students and trainees
Apply for external postdoctoral fellowships
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Pharmacogenomics, Genetic Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in genomic data analysis (GWAS, candidate gene studies, or WGS/WES data)
Strong programming skills in R, Python, PLINK, or other genomic analysis tools
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in psychiatric pharmacogenomics
Experience working with large healthcare or administrative datasets
Experience with grant writing
The initial appointment is for one year, renewable based on performance and funding availability. The potential start date is Sep 1, 2026. Salary will be commensurate with experience and aligned with institutional guidelines. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
